Yesterday, Pingdom reported that 48% of the top blogs in the world use WordPress, which comes as no surprise to ContentRobot.

The five fantastic findings that we liked were:

  1. That was a increase from the 32% that WordPress recorded three years ago
  2. Their findings compared to Technorat’s State of the Blogosphere 2011 report, which stated that 51% of blogs in the world use WordPress
  3. Some companies are still choosing to build their own custom CMS (content management system)
  4. TypePad & Movable Type have basically disappeared
  5. Tumblr has arrived

We are pleased that we focused our blogging expertise on WordPress. If you are new to blogging or WordPress, we’d be happy to help you get started.
