Purpose: ContentRobot helped eVision, a Connecticut-based search engine optimization company, to add a blog to their website. eVision can easily post internet marketing and website conversion articles, and then send a blog-driven newsletter to subscriber’s in-boxes each month.

Features: ContentRobot converted eVision’s web design into a WordPress theme, while adding friendly blog-like touches into its final look. We also assisted eVision with initial content conversion and implemented various search engine optimization (SEO) and tagging techniques to the blog. Behind the scenes, we installed and customized some great plugins, including:

• All in One SEO – to customize their post titles, keywords, and descriptions. (A real nice plugin that we expect to recommend to many of our clients.)
• Ultimate Tag Warrior – to tag posts. (We usually install this versatile plugin on all our client sites.)
• Google Sitemaps – to encourage Google to index posts and spider the entire site
• Advanced WYSIWYG editor - to extend and display other more formatting options on the Write > Post panel. (Now it’s easy to include tables, format headlines, and other text treatments.)

Why It’s Successful: eVision felt it took too much time to write and design their email-based newsletter on a regular basis. Now with the blog, their content gets published automatically every month. For those who do not wish to receive the latest news in their inboxes, they can subscribe to the RSS feed instead – many options for both clients and visitors to learn about eVision and their vast expertise.
