Purpose: PKMorin Enterprises took a hard look at their current websites and knew they were due for a massive update, since initially launching them around the turn of the century. This Portland, Oregon-based roofing and exterior remodeling firm sought to create an online experience that matched the capabilities of their two upscale companies.

Working with conversion expert, Wizard of Ads’ Dave Young, to create actionable content, they also sought a new design. ContentRobot, of course, suggested that they build the new Roof Life of Oregon and 1st Oregon websites on top of the WordPress platform to best show off their expertise.

Features: ContentRobot created two different, yet related, designs that would best show off photography that highlights the various work and successful completed projects. With their calls-to-action in the sidebar, detailed testimonials, and even a video saying “hello,” it almost makes you wish you live in metropolitan Portland and had a leaky roof that needed fixing.

While this blog-powered website seems rather straightforward in its execution, however the benefits to PKMorin Enterprises include the ability to:

• Author blogs that provide community building and consistent communication to their target audiences
• Manage every page and post on each site
• Easily upload and incorporate images wherever they wish
• Create sidebar “callouts” that entice visitors to travel through the whole website – using just text or even including an image

• Write Panel plugins: ImageManager (for image management and manipulation), Viper's Video Quicktags (to easily post videos from throughout the web)
• Other plugins: Fuzzy Recent Posts (a widget to display recent posts in the sidebar), Google Analytics (for metrics) and cforms (for contact forms)

Why They're Successful: Because the blogs are getting filled with some good content, they are getting indexed by search engines for the first time. This has attracted qualified leads for both their roofing and exterior remodeling businesses. They are excited to be able to touch and manage every aspect of their website and are very happy with their new look.
