- Apple - iTunes Store has now sold over five billion songs from its catalog of over eight million songs
- Microsoft - Bill Gates set to "retire" from his day job on June 27
- Firefox - Users downloaded the new Firefox 3 browser over 8.3 million times within 24 hours
