Yesterday, Pingdom reported that 48% of the top blogs in the world use WordPress, which comes as no surprise to ContentRobot.
The five fantastic findings that we liked were:
- That was a increase from the 32% that WordPress recorded three years ago
- Their findings compared to Technorat’s State of the Blogosphere 2011 report, which stated that 51% of blogs in the world use WordPress
- Some companies are still choosing to build their own custom CMS (content management system)
- TypePad & Movable Type have basically disappeared
- Tumblr has arrived
We are pleased that we focused our blogging expertise on WordPress. If you are new to blogging or WordPress, we’d be happy to help you get started.
